NJ-Native Lorena Pinot Makes a Splash on New Social App LIVIT

The former American Idol contestant finds success in a new and innovative realm

LIVIT is an international live streaming app for rising music artists, entertainers and influencers across the board. Making a splash in the overseas market, the buzzworthy platform is now breaking grounds in the U.S. in unique and innovative ways.

During the pandemic, streaming has become increasingly popular; not only in terms of creators engaging with their fans, but bringing in extra cash flow in a time of uncertainty. This resonates especially in younger generations who are seeking to connect with the outside world, in which oftentimes they are lacking the freedom to head to work as normal.

With the LIVIT app, streamers are able to monetize their content in real time. Viewers have the option to "gift" or donate money to their favorite creators, supporting their artistry. This allows content creators on LIVIT to take charge in building their own careers.

LIVIT enables users to watch real, entertaining and live content 24/7, as well as make real connections with streamers and viewers. Streamers on Livit make money from their content by gaining in-app coins from fans.

Viewers can also take a look into the lives of the hottest talent and most captivating personalities, while being a part of the supportive community by commenting in streams and attending exclusive events.

Head of Operations for LIVIT in the U.S., Armin Collosi gives additional insight on the future of streamers on the LIVIT app stating:

“I’m excited to see the next generation of content that streamers are going to produce once they’re allowed to explore the world again. Traveling and exploration content is one of my favorites, along with getting more behind-the-scenes content from some of my favorite musicians and artists. Watching these musicians in their creative process and getting a behind-the-scenes look as to how challenging it can be to create some of the most influential songs of all time.”

Today we also focus on Lorena Pinot, an upcoming and popular streamer on the LIVIT app. Hailing from Princeton, New Jersey, Pinot is of Latin-American heritage. Lorena Pinot is also a name you have seen before as she’s a former contestant from American Idol who is still actively pursuing her dream as a professional singer. I had the opportunity to speak with the artist about her creative endeavors alongside her involvement and success with the LIVIT app.

Q: What drove you to collaborate with the LIVIT app?

A: I was scouted by a Talent Manager from Livit who told me that this app was very popular in Asia and was taking off quickly in the United States for showcasing people with talent. He told me all about streaming. Lol, believe it or not, I had no idea other than seeing a few facebook lives and instagram lives. I was curious to see what it was about and loved it. I was given the freedom to run my own channel (broadcast) however I wanted, at the times that I wanted, from anywhere in the world, and the more I did it, the more I fell in love with expanding my community of viewers and making friends with other contracted streamers as well.

Q: What kind of content do you like to bring to your viewers?

A: I’m a Latin-music recording artist, so I knew from the beginning that if I was going to enjoy streaming and do it daily, I would use it as a compliment to whatever is going on in my world. I see it as the behind the scenes to the artist that I am. On livit, you can truly get to know me, Lorena, and what I love to do on my free time. I cook, I eat (a lot), I dance when I’m happy, I talk passionately about my Latin roots and of course, I sing. But it’s just so much more.

Q: What features do you like on the app that you don't get on others like Instagram and TikTok?

A: Livit is so interactive, it offers the viewers the opportunity to connect with the streamer so easily while making it so much fun. The app also creates incentives for us streamers to win “events” and career advancing opportunities, like becoming the “Face of Livit” and be featured on the App’s download page. That was such an incredible honor and joy for me to win, not just as a streamer, but also as the first Latin-American to win it! ;)

Q: What inspires you and drives your vision on the account?

A: My viewers inspire me. They are a huge part of the stream, of my goals and my success. Everything that happens on Livit is definitely a team effort.

Q: How has your streaming routine changed for you since the pandemic?

A: For one, I have definitely had more time to stream and create more content. To be honest, Livit saved my life during the worst moments of the stay at home phase. Being able to socialize daily with so many without having to go out was amazing. We celebrated birthdays, had parties in my kitchen, and enjoyed so many meals together.

Q: How has streaming overall on LIVIT helped you to connect with fans and viewers from around the world?

A: It’s just a really great platform to expand your following. People who have met me on Livit now listen to my music on Spotify and Youtube and follow me in all other platforms. And the other streamers are so supportive too! Now I feel like I can go to Guam and visit my friend Eva, Ro in Ireland, or Stormy in the UK! Its great!

Q: At the end of the day, what do you want viewers to take away from your streams?

A: I just want everyone to have safe space in my stream to be themselves, to have a little fun, to enjoy music together, to forget for one moment about all of the things that are going on in their life and in the world, and to just leave with a smile and a lighter weight on their shoulders.
