Paving, Milling Work On Route 206 In Princeton Begins Friday

Work will begin Friday and will continue until Monday next week. Motorists can expect delays.

PRINCETON, NJ – The N.J. Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will be conducting overnight milling and paving of two sections of Route 206 to repair rough road conditions, Princeton police said.

The two sections to be repaired are:

  • The intersection of Nassau Street north to near the intersection with Mountain Avenue.
  • Near Arreton Road Heavy rain will result in cancellations of the work.

The work will take place weeknights, Monday to Friday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Roadwork will begin Friday and will continue until Monday next week. It's also possible that work could extend to Wednesday, May 26.

NJDOT will be handling traffic direction/control and will be alternating traffic through their work zones.

Motorists can expect delays. Heavy rain will result in cancellations of the work.
