Police Pursuit Of Stolen Car Ends In Princeton

Another unlocked vehicle was also burglarized on Tuesday where a wallet was stolen, Princeton Police said.

PRINCETON, NJ — The driver of a stolen car from Princeton led police on a chase before it was cut short for safety reasons.

Last Friday at 9:35 p.m., a Drakes Corner Road resident someone entered their unlocked vehicle, which was on their property, and stole it, Princeton Police said.

Police found the vehicle on Cherry Valley Road and tried to stop it, however the driver drove away from police and started a chase, police said.

The chase was stopped by police due to safety concerns.

Another car burglary was reported on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. when a Dorann Avenue resident said someone entered their unlocked vehicle, parked in front of her home, and stole her wallet, police said.

Inside the wallet was her driver's license, University ID and several credit cards.

The victim reported her bank notified her that someone came into the bank and tried to use her ID to cash a check with her name on it, police said.
