Princeton Community Donates Meals To Healthcare 'Heroes'

One hundred meals were donated to healthcare workers at Penn Medicine Princeton Health on Tuesday.

PRINCETON, NJ – One hundred meals were donated to healthcare workers at Penn Medicine Princeton Health on Tuesday in what the community hopes will be the first of many donations to those who are on the frontlines of the new coronavirus pandemic.

The bagged lunches were donated by Palmer Square and Nassau Inn to show their appreciation and support for the people who are working to keep the Princeton community safe, Palmer Square said in a Facebook post.

Community members are being asked to get involved as well to help keep local medical professional and volunteers well-fed during this time. Those who wish to donate a bagged meal can visit the GoFundMe page set up with a goal of raising $10,000. Each bagged lunch is $15 and comes with a full cold sandwich, house side salad, piece of fruit and chocolate chip cookie.
