Princeton Day School second graders visited D&R Greenway’s circa-1900 barn at the Johnson Education Center, bringing their generous donation to support the Land Trust’s preservation of New Jersey land. Funds were raised through the students’ creation and sale of a custom calendar for their Service Learning Project. (L to R) Stewardship staff members Tina Notas and Cindy Taylor planted wildflower seeds with the eager students in D&R Greenway’s Native Plant Nursery, then hosted a guided nature walk through Greenway Meadows, focusing upon the role of pollinators among the preserve’s trees and native plants.
