Princeton High School Graduation Rescheduled To Wednesday

According to forecast, there's a high probability of rain Tuesday afternoon. The commencement ceremony will now be held Wednesday 10 a.m.

PRINCETON, NJ – Princeton Public Schools announced it was rescheduling Tuesday’s high school commencement ceremony “due to anticipated inclement weather.”

Intermin Superintendent Barry Galasso sent out a letter to the school community informing them of the change.

The Princeton High School commencement ceremony will now be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. According to the forecast, there’s a high probability of rain Tuesday afternoon, while Wednesday morning it is anticipated to be 75 degrees and sunny.

“We are announcing the decision today to give parents and guests a chance to make arrangements to attend on Wednesday morning and also to provide the required notice necessary to change the set-up for the live stream, which is being done by a professional company this year,” Galasso said.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook on Monday morning for New Jersey, saying that strong thunderstorms may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts through Tuesday evening.

Apart from the day, nothing else has changed about the ceremony.
