Princeton Holiday Gift Drive Provides Gifts For About 270 Kids

The Department of Human Services thanked everyone who participated in the drive.

PRINCETON, NJ — About 270 kids 12 years old and under received gifts this holiday season as a result of the Princeton Human Services Holiday Gift Drive, the town announced this week.

The department thanked donors for their contributions, as well as the Princeton Police Department, the JM Group, and Stone Hill Church for their support and contributions to the Holiday Gift Drive. Donors included municipal employees, police officers and many Princeton residents who made individual donations and sponsored children.

“This is truly a community effort as everyone works together to ensure that our children in need have gifts to open for the holidays,” the department said in a release. “Human Services has been coordinating this drive for many years and it wouldn't be possible without the support of all of our donors and volunteers that help during gift distribution. Special thanks to our volunteers and staff that helped during gift delivery and distribution days.”
