Princeton School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Princeton is September 7. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Princeton School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 10/9: Staff Development - Schools Closed

• 11/1-2: PK-8 Conf – 1 pm dismissal
• 11/7-8: PK-8 Conf – 1 pm dismissal
• 11/9-10: NJEA Convention – Schools Closed
• 11/22: PK-8 - 1 pm dismissal; PHS – 12:30pm dismissal
• 11/23-24: Thanksgiving Recess - Schools Closed

December

• 12/4: PK-12 Staff Development – PK-8 1pm dismissal
• 12/4: PHS 12:30pm dismissal
• 12/22: PK-8 – 1pm dismissal; PHS–12:30 dismissal
• 12/25-29: Winter Recess – Schools Closed

January

• 1/1: New Years Day – Schools Closed
• 1/2: Classes Resume
