Princeton School Of Rock Offering Music Programs To Mercer County

Princeton School of Rock will be holding Music Workshops and Camps for young musicians in the Lawrence area this May, July and August.
The newly announced Workshops will run for four days in the month of May and provide kids with a hands-on atmosphere where they'll learn performance techniques, practical skills and the art of being in a rock band.

Summer Pre-Show Mixtape Workshop - May 10-14
This Workshop will cover some of the genres and artists that will be a part of School of Rock’s regular Performance Season this upcoming Summer, such as Modern Pop, The Beatles, LGBTQ artists and 90’s grunge artists. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
Build Your Own Guitar Workshop - May 17-20
After this four day workshop, you’ll be able to walk away with your very own guitar! Students will spend the week instructed on how to construct, maintain and repair a guitar that they put together. Great for students 12 and older.

Creating A Cover Song Workshop - May 24-27
Students will learn about famous covers of songs and learn how to rework a song into their own style. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance of the songs they reworked. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
