Princeton University To Host COVID Vaccine Clinic For Public

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton University on Tuesday announced it will host a series of COVID-19 vaccination clinics open to the public beginning Thursday.

The New Jersey Department of Health is making available more than 2,000 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine that will be administered at the clinics, which will be held at Jadwin Gym.

"The University has worked closely with state and local partners throughout the pandemic to support our local community,” Kristin Appelget, Director of Community and Regional Affairs, said in a statement.

“We’re grateful that we can now extend those efforts to include COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the public, with the assistance of the New Jersey Department of Health.”

Here are the dates and times for the clinic:

  • Thursday, May 6: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 11: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 12: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Those who register for the shot must be available to receive their second dose three weeks after the first shot.

Second appointments will be scheduled automatically on May 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; June 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and June 2, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Anyone age 16 or older is eligible for the vaccine and should register with New Jersey’s Vaccine Scheduling System (https://covidvaccine.nj.gov) to secure an appointment.
