Princeton Youth Hockey Team Helps Feed Families In Need
The team held its Thanksgiving Food Drive over two weeks in November.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Youth Hockey Association (PYHA) 12U B team collected non-perishable foods and grocery store gift cards during their Thanksgiving dinner drive held during the first two weeks of November, the team announced on Monday. The team’s goal was to provide enough ingredients to help local families in need cook their own traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
The Tigers delivered the collected items to HomeFront on Nov. 20. HomeFront has been helping families in need in central New Jersey for 25 years. Their mission is to help families break the cycle of poverty by providing them with the resources to become self-sufficient.
“Seeing people line up at HomeFront to collect their Thanksgiving dinners was a sobering moment,” Susan O’Dell, manager of the PYHA 12U B team manager Susan O’Dell said.
