Psst- How to Entertain the Kids During Holiday Break

Princeton Public Library has lots of activities planned, from kid-friendly movies to crafts and board games.

Need things to do with the kids over the holiday break? Princeton Public Library has you covered, with a slew of child-friendly activities this week. 

  • Come make paper snowflakes on Thursday, Dec. 26, from 11:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.. Just head to the Youth Services Department on the library’s third floor.
  • Watch the movie "Epic" on Friday, Dec. 27 at 3 p.m.  From the creators of “Ice Age,” this 2013 computer-animated fantasy-adventure comedy-drama film, loosely based on William Joyce’s children’s book “The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs.” It features the voices of Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson and Beyonce. Community Room.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. see another kid-friendly film, “The Croods.” will be shown. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, it tells the story of a caveman family that must trek through an unfamiliar world with the help of an inventive boy after their cave is destroyed. Community Room.
  •  On Monday, Dec. 30, from 1-4 p.m. a variety board games will be available in the Youth Services Department. Children and their families and friends are invited to drop by to play.
