Police called off the search for the driver wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a Princeton woman in North Brunswick.

PRINCETON, NJ — Authorities called off a search for the driver and vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a Princeton woman on June 4 in North Brunswick.

"The driver has been located and the investigation is continuing. There is no additional information at this time," Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the North Brunswick Police Department announced.

At about 12:58 a.m. on Thursday, Alysa Kristjanson, 22, of Princeton, was hit on Route 130 in North Brunswick in the area of Dunkin Donuts before the vehicle fled, said Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Authorities launched a search on Saturday for the driver of a dark SUV that should have damage to the passenger side front light and mirror. It was called off on Wednesday.

The investigation is active and is continuing.
