TASK All Set on Thanksgiving Volunteers, But Need is Ongoing

Want to volunteer for the holidays?
The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen is booked with volunteers for the Thanksgiving meal, but is accepting volunteers for Christmas. To volunteer, contact Charlie Orth at 609-695-5456 ext #0 orCharlieo@trentonsoupkitchen.org beginning Monday, December 2.
Other ongoing opportunities at TASK include:
- Help prepare and/or serve a meal during one of nine time slots: Mon-Fri, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Mon-Thurs, 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Up to 12 volunteers are welcome at each time, either as individuals from a single group or any combination. Children must be 13 years of age or older.
- Help serve meals at the South Trenton Soup Kitchen. At the First Baptist Church on Centre Street, dinner is served Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. At St. Stanislaus Church at 60 Randall Ave., dinner is served on Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Up to six volunteers at a time.
