Thief Snatches $80 in Tips from Efe's Mediterrean Grill

A man nabbed the tip jar containing roughly $80 from Efe's Mediterrean Grill on Nassau Street on Sunday night, according to Princeton Police. 

The robbery occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the restaurant located in the 200 block of Nassau Street. 

Employees described the suspect as a white male with a thin build, approximately 5’10” tall with dirty blonde hair. He was reportedly wearing a black leather jacket, a hooded sweatshirt and grey pants. 

According to police, the suspect entered the restaurant, grabbed the tip jar and fled north on Chestnut Street. 

Employees gave chase, but stopped when the man said he had a gun. Employees never saw a weapon. 

No one was injured.
