Two Children Killed As Shots Fired Into Trenton Home: Prosecutor

Johnny Perez, 8, and Gustavo Perez, 16, were struck and killed when shot were fired into their home.

PRINCETON, NJ – Two children were killed on Tuesday night after shots were fired into their home in Trenton, said the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Johnny Perez, 8, and Gustavo Perez, 16, were struck and killed when at least one suspect shot into the second floor of the home, said police.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Mulberry Street. So far no arrests have been made.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
