Water Main Break Forces Road Closure In Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ - A water main break at the intersection of Spruce and Chestnut Street has cause road closure in Chestnut Street, said police.

American Water is currently on the scene, working on emergency repairs. Chestnut Street will be closed to traffic, between Nassau Street and Hamilton Avenue.

Spruce Street will also be closed to traffic due to work in the intersection. Law enforcement officers will be assisting residents who live in the affected area, get access to their homes.

Princeton police has asked residents to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
