$50,000 Raised In Honor Of Ramsey Boy, 4, Battling Brain Cancer
Breaking: Tommy FitzPatrick was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February 2017.

RAMSEY, NJ — Tommy FitzPatrick has gone through six brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. He's only 4.
FitzPatrick was diagnosed with brain cancer in February 2017. The greater Ramsey community and people at his Wyckoff church have aided him in his fight through the #TommyStrong initiative.
Through the efforts of his family and 1,000 other people, the campaign raised $50,000 for Tackle Kids Cancer, the philanthropic program benefiting the Children's Cancer Institute at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital in Hackensack.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning donated to #TommyStrong. Manning matched donations given to the campaign as part of Eli's Challenge, an grassroots effort he has lead to help Tackle Kids Cancer. The initiative has helped raise more than $4 million.
Other local families have donated to Tackle Kids Cancer, including Rebecca Salmins and her father. Salmins, of Wyckoff, and Manning are friends. They met through Tackle Kids Cancer. Salmins was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was 6. She was declared cancer-free in 2016.

Manning was awarded the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2017 for his involvement with Tackle Kids Cancer.
The FitzPatrick family and others who donated the $50,000 will be at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Wyckoff. They will present a check to Tackle Kids Cancer.
New York Giants legend Jeff Feagles and Dr. Derek Hanson, head of the pediatric neuro-oncology at the Children's Cancer Institute, will be on hand to receive the check.
