Another Bear Sighting In Ramsey This Week

RAMSEY, NJ — Another bear was spotted around Ramsey this week, after multiple sightings last week.

An alert was sent out Tuesday morning about a bear sighting in the area of Dogwood Terrace and Woodland Avenue.

The warning message said the animal "at this time not aggressive."

Residents are being warned to stay away from the bear and to keep pets inside.

Last Monday, there were two bear sightings in town: in Gove Street, and another in the area of Cypress Court and Desimone Court.
