Don Bosco Prep Has New Alumni Relations Director

RAMSEY, NJ — There is a new director of alumni relations at Don Bosco Prep.

Brian McAleer, the former director of athletics, will move into the role following the sudden death of Richard Wisniewski in June.

McAleer has been a part of Don Bosco's administration for nearly 20 years. He was director of admissions for 11 years and athletics director for nine.

School officials said McAleer is the "best fit" to engage with the school's more than 12,000 alumni.

"We know Brian can step in and enhance and further grwo the Advancement Office," Robert Fazio, Don Bosco's president, said in a news release. "His strong relationship with the Don Bosco community will help us navigate through the loss and help us move in a positive direction."

McAleer said he is looking forward to "this new challenge" and to assist the school's community in another capacity.
