Carroo, a 211-lbs. 6-foot wide receiver, was an honorable mention All-Big Ten pick in 2014 with 1,068 receiving yards, 19.7 yards per catch, and 10 touchdowns, per ESPN.com. He had 809 yards, 39 yards per catch, and 10 touchdowns last season.

A high-ankle sprain and suspension for an arrest on an assault charge limited his playing time last year. The charge was later dropped.
According to ESPN’s draft profile of him, Carroo “gets upfield immediately after the catch and has size to finish with an extra yard or two tacked on. Played in scheme that required him to be a willing and competitive run blocker.”

Carroo also has “desired NFL size” and can “adjust to off-target deep balls and run under them.”
