Former Don Bosco Standout Walks-On At Rutgers: Report
Lawrence Stevens will play cornerback on the Scarlet Knights football team.
RAMSEY, N.J. - A former Don Bosco Prep cornerback will walk-on at Rutgers in 2016, NJ.com reported.
Lawrence Stevens spent the last year at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. Stevens said he "fell in love" with Rutgers during an unofficial visit there Saturday.
Stevens said in the report that coming back home was "the best fit" for him.

Stevens, a Lawrenceville native, will start playing at cornerback, but can also play safety and multiple special teams positions, according to the report. He will begin practicing with the team this summer.
