In Ramsey, the median salary is $148,506, a 2.51% increase from last year.

In Bergen County, Englewood On The Palisades Charter School had the highest median salary, $171,495 and Little Ferry had the lowest, $123,160.
Patch put together a list of the median salaries set before the 2019-20 school year, from highest to lowest, as well as the biggest to smallest increases for each school district. Click here to see the list.
The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2019.
The median statewide administrator salary is $125,207, a 1 percent increase over 2018.
And it's not just the big towns or the regional districts that pay the most: Indeed, Ridgewood is a great place to get a principal or administrator job, where the median salary is $161,849. So is Lavallette, where the median salary is $167,324. But nearby, in Bay Head, the median salary is listed as $1.
