Konica Minolta Bringing 400 More Jobs To Ramsey
The company will expand its footprint with a 2-story annex, R&D facility, and 4-tier parking garage.

RAMSEY, NJ — More than 400 jobs are coming to the borough next year due to Konica Minolta breaking ground on an expansion for its Williams Drive campus Wednesday.
The centerpiece of the project is a two-story annex that will accommodate the additional employees.
"I am so pleased that Konica Minolta decided to stay in Ramsey and expand its presence. This news is great for the local economy, housing market and businesses," Mayor Deirdre Dillon said. "This is a big win for Ramsey and the surrounding towns."

In addition to the annex, an existing building will be converted to a four-tier parking parking garage. There will also be a customer engagement center, training facility, and a consolidated warehouse for all the company's East Coast operations.
Construction is slated to be completed in 2019.

Rick Taylor, president and CEO of Konica Minolta, and several senior executives presided over the groundbreaking ceremony.
“Konica Minolta, has reached a special milestone, fueled by our continued growth in the imaging sector," Taylor said in a statement. "We believe our investment in the Ramsey campus will not only bring new jobs to New Jersey, but it will serve a key role in supporting our business expansion to help add value to our customers."
