Ramsey Borough: Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic At Eric S. Smith School On Wednesday, May 26th

Please see information below regarding vaccine clinc from Dr. Matthew Murphy, Superintendent of Schools :

We have partnered with Rite Aid to host a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Eric S. Smith School on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 for all students, staff, and community members ages 12 and older.  As you may know, Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for patients 12 and older.  

We will send another communication once Rite Aid’s scheduling link is active in the next few days.  Appointments will be available starting at 2 PM.   In the meantime, please save the date and note this important information:

• A Screening Questionnaire and Consent Form must be completed prior to the appointment. 
• There is no cost for the vaccine.  If a patient has insurance, they should provide their insurance card, but insurance is not required to register or to receive the vaccine.
• Anyone who is 12 or older as of the date of the vaccination is eligible to receive the vaccine.
• For those under 18, a parent must sign the consent form, and a parent/legal guardian must be present during vaccine administration.

• The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be administered at this clinic.  This is a two-dose vaccine. The second dose will be administered at a follow-up clinic.  We will confirm the date shortly.
• Rite Aid may need to cancel the event if the 50 minimum participant requirement is not met.

We encourage anyone who is eligible for a vaccine but has not yet been vaccinated to consider this opportunity.
