Ramsey Doctor To Give Lecture On Sports Concussions
Dr. Angela D'Alessandro, a pediatrician and a member of the Ramsey Board of Health, will talk about the need to take concussions seriously.
RAMSEY, N.J. — A lecture on concussions will be given at the library Thursday at 7 p.m.
Dr. Angela D'Alessandro will talk about the need to take concussions seriously, pre-concussion testing, treatment and post-concussion testing. She will also talk about the significance of Second Impact Syndrome and its possible long-term effects.
D'Alessandro is a board-certified pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and a member of the Ramsey Board of Health.
