Ramsey Residents Invited to Farmers' Market

The Ramsey Farmers' Market has announced its first-place win in The Best of Bergen Reader's Choice Award for 2016, the fourth year in a row for this award.

The award-winning nonprofit Ramsey Farmers' Market returns with more than 50 local farmers and food purveyors on Sundays, June through November, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside of the Erie Plaza train station on Main St. in Ramsey.

Offered each Sunday is a wide selection of produce and products, including organic and responsibly grown vegetables and fruits, artisan breads and cheeses, local wine, fresh fish directly from the Hampton Bays, homemade pastas, sauces, chili and mozzarella, guacamole made on site, kombucha and kimchi, organic soups and prepared salads, spices, hummus, gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegar, homemade jams and jellies and green juices as well as freshly cut flowers, hardy perennials, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian items.

Members of the community are invited to stroll the market to shop, listen to talented musicians, visit the children's craft table and enjoy scheduled festivals as well as other special events throughout the season.
