Ramsey Welcomes New Senior Coordinator Stephanie Farrar

Former coordinator Andree Cobb, stepping back due to time constraints, will continue on as an Arthritis Foundation Exercise program instructor.

The Ramsey Senior Center has a new coordinator.

On Jan. 2, the borough hired Ramsey resident Stephanie Farrar to take over the job vacated by Andree Cobb, according to Senior Center President Doug Rennie.

Rennie said Cobb, who held the job for seven years, decided to step down because she longer had "the time required for supporting our activities."

"She will be missed as her friendliness and competence have set high standards," Rennie said, adding that Cobb will continue to offer her services as an Arthritis Foundation Exercise program instructor on Mondays at 3:30 p.m. at the Senior Center. "We will remain eternally grateful for Andree’s years of service."

Rennie said that as much as the center will miss its previous coordinator, staff and guests are enjoying working with Farrar, who already is known as a dedicated community volunteer.

"We look forward to the future of the Senior Center with her fresh new ideas, talents and energy," Rennie said.
