JAM KANCER IN THE KAN FOUNDATION

Jake Weiner and Jack Levine, 6th grade students at Randolph Middle School, and Lilly Levine a 5th grader at Shongum Elementary School brought together friends and family of all ages to help raise money for those effected by and fighting against Cancer. A fun morning of Kan Jam, with the important goal of raising money, was had by all. 34 teams competed, with the ultimate winners Andrew Levy and Jack Levine taking home the trophies. The three students organized the tournament as part of their Mitzvah year service. There three attend Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael in Morristown, NJ.

With the help of the JAM KANCER FOUNDATION, the trio raised $7000. Participants also had the honor to hear from Fenov Pierre-Louis, an inspiring 17 year old and JAM KANCER ambassador, who has been fighting against neuroblastoma since the age of 9.

Fenov, along with another JAM Ambassador NY Islanders player Anders Lee, inspire others to give back through these types of events throughout the tristate area. Fenov encouraged everyone in the venue to not only carry the spark but to "light the fire" to help eradicate the disease.
