1st Townwide Glen Rock Menorah Lighting Is Dec. 14
The menorah will be lit every night of Hanukkah, from Dec. 12 to 20.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — The borough's first townwide Hanukkah menorah lighting is this month.
The menorah will be outside of Kilroy's Wonder Market at 288 Road Road. Jewish residents will light the Menorah each of the eight nights of Hanukkah from Dec. 12 to 20.
"A townwide menorah in Glen Rock is a long time coming," said Glen Rock resident Erica Danziger, one of the lead planners of the celebration. "This is a truly cooperative experience to benefit the whole community."

The Jewish Families of Glen Rock, a private local group of residents, will host "Rock The Lights," a special celebration Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. The public may attend. There will be live music, holiday food and children's activities. The Chabad Jewish Center of Northwest Bergen County and the Glen Rock Jewish Center are co-sponsoring the event.
In addition to the menorah lighting, residents can celebrate Hanukkah at the Glen Rock library Dec. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. Jewish Families of glen Rock will host an arts and crafts time, games and a raffle. All ages are welcome.
