3 Glen Rock Lacrosse Seniors Announce Their College Plans

Grace Ollendike, Madeline Kassoy and Megan Lynch announced where they'll be playing next year after graduating from Glen Rock High School.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — The last year has been strange for many high school athletes in New Jersey and across the country.

However, three Glen Rock High School lacrosse stars persevered, and announced they'd be continuing their athletic careers during a ceremony at Glen Rock High School last week.

Some will be following family tradition while others will be seeking to build new legacies. Here are the three Glen Rock stand-outs, and where they'll go:

Grace Ollendike

  • A 4-year letter winner and starter, Ollendike is committed to playing lacrosse at Hartwick College, where her parents also played college lacrosse. "During her career she has contributed in many ways by playing multiple positions and utilizing her dynamic skills on the field," the high school said, in a news release. Ollendike is a recipient of the Oyaron Scholarship Award given, awarded by Hartwick.

Madeline Kassoy

  • Kassoy earned her varsity letter for 3 years, being one of Glen Rock's two senior starting goalies. She will be playing college lacrosse next season at Aurora University in Illinois. "During her career at Glen Rock she made a tremendous impact in goal, being a leader on our defense and shutting down some of Bergen County’s most prolific shooters," said the high school, in a news release.

Megan Lynch

  • A 3-year letter winner and fellow started in goal to Kassoy, Lynch will play lacrosse at Stockton University. She was a three-sport athlete at Glen Rock High School. "She helped lead our team to a successful season in 2019 by earning an all-conference award during her sophomore campaign," the high school said, in a news release.
