'Adios' to Gabbert, PSE&G Forum in Glen Rock

Check out what's happening this week in Ridgewood and Glen Rock.

Monday

PSE&G will be meeting with residents and officials in Glen Rock to discuss its substation project, which runs 65-foot-tall utility poles and 69KV of electricity between substations in Paramus and Fair Lawn. Neighbors in Ridgewood have complained, though Glen Rock residents have been largely silent thus far. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in Borough Hall.

We'll have other PSE&G-related news on Monday as well, so make sure to stick around!

Tuesday

The special election primary for the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by the late Frank Lautenberg is on Tuesday. Voters can cast their ballots for their nominees between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

If you're an insomniac and C-Span doesn't help put you to sleep, head over to Ridgewood Village Hall and listen to people talk about floor-to-area ratios and set backs. The village zoning board meets at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday

The Ridgewood Village Council meets at 8 p.m. for a public meeting. Village Manager Ken Gabbert is expected to be removed from office. We'll be there to bring you the latest on the developing situation.

Thursday

Some new merchants are moving into Ridgewood. Who? Check in on Thursday and you'll find out.

Friday

LiLo hit flick "Mean Girls" will be shown at Van Neste at 8 p.m. for the movies in the park series.
