Bergen Burger Joint Ranked Among Best In U.S.

GARFIELD, NJ – Steve's Burgers in Garfield serves up some of the best hamburgers in the country, according to recently-released ranking.

Food & Wine Magazine sought to determine America's 20 highest-rated "burger focused"restaurants, based upon Yelp reviews.

In the ranking, no major chains made the cut - only local mom-and-pop-joints scored spots on the list. And though Food & Wine limited the list to a maximum of two restaurants per state, Steve's Burgers - which came in at #15 - was the only place in New Jersey to rank.

The magazine wrote: "The pint-sized, three-table Steve’s in New Jersey is for burger die-hards who don’t mind going out of their way to grab its towering burgers, patty melts, and onion rings."
