Carrie Lemieux, Longest Lived Glen Rock Resident, Dead At 94

She was a parishioner of St. Catherine R.C. Church since 1957. She was a member of the Glen Rock Garden and Seniors club.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Carrie L. Lemieux, the borough's longest living resident, died Saturday.

She was 94.

She worked in the 'Pink Bank' in Glen Rock for 40 years, according to her obituary.

She was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church of Glen Rock since 1957.

She was a member of the Glen Rock Garden Club, Valley Hospital Auxiliary and the Glen Rock Seniors Club.

She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, listening to music and spending time with her family, according to her obituary.

She was predeceased by her husband Maurice.

She is survived by her children, Louise, and her husband Robert, Maurice, and his wife Anne, Claire, and her husband Gary, and Monique; grandchildren Nicolette, Danielle, Robert, Alyssa, Amanda, Marissa, Paige, Gretchen, Peter and Jacques.

Visitation is at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave. in Ridgewood. A funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine. Interment will follow at Christ The King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be sent to the Glen Rock Historical and Preservation Society, P.O. Box 581 Glen Rock, N.J. 07452.
