Chick-Fil-A Hopes To Open Hackensack Location

HACKENSACK, NJ – Chick-fil-A is looking to open a location in Hackensack.

The chicken-based fast food chain is pursuing its first restaurant in the city, which would make it the fourth Chick-fil-A in Bergen County.

Details about the location, owner and grand opening were not revealed by the company, but a spokeswoman said they “look forward to sharing” soon and said they are “still very early in the process.”

“We are excited by the prospect of joining this vibrant community,” the company said in a statement. “We hope to have the opportunity to serve new guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality.”

While Chick-fil-A did not say where it hopes to open, Bergen County foodie website BoozyBurbs.com reported that the proposed spot is on Route 4 East, where Hooters and Firewaters are located.

With Bergen County, there are Chick-fil-A locations in Paramus Park, Westfield Garden State Plaza, Englewood and Teterboro.
