'Due' Opens in Ridgewood

Following a private event on Thursday, "authentic" Italian restaurant 'Due' ("Two" in Italian) has opened its doors to the public.

Chef/owner Chris Tarta has pasta made from scratch on the premises, and is importing fine meats and cheeses. Tarta's second restaurant (the first is "Bella Campania" in Hillsdale) features a wood-burning grill.

The 1999 Johnson and Wales culinary school graduate has a 50-seat dining room.
