Friday: Sidewalk Sale, Wilde Park Closing for Renovations

Friday is happening. And the Ridgewood Sidewalk Sale is happening on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. So that should be cool. Good luck finding parking (Tip: instead of circling the block, park near RUMC by the park or the Cottage Street lot).

Fortunately, the weather will be much nicer than shoppers experienced on Thursday. Expect clear and sunny skies with a gentle breeze and a high of 85 degrees.

*In news you're definitely happy to receive, your quarterly taxes are due in Glen Rock and Ridgewood. Yay! (There's an extended deadline of Aug. 19 in Glen Rock; Ridgewood residents must pay by Aug. 12.)

*Finally, Glen Rock's Wilde Park will be open Friday, the last day before it closes for renovations. As an alternative, the borough recommends people visit the Children’s Park on Doremus Avenue next to the pool.

*Ridgewood street paving continues again on Friday. Here's the list of streets scheduled to be milled and paved.
