Super Bowl Sunday is almost here, so it's a great time to roll out a column detailing this weekend's best events.

1. Mitch Fatel the Magical Show

Why Go: After a hard work week, who couldn’t use a good laugh? Fatel's hilarious one hour is abrasive and refreshingly funny.

2. Closter Dock Winter History 
Where/When: Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Park Headquarters, Exit 2 off Palisades Interstate Park, Alpine

3. International Great Beer Festival 
Where/When: Saturday 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadow, 355 Plaza Dr., Secaucus
Why Go: This international beer tasting extravaganza will showcase more than 50 breweries from across the globe, each providing samples of their country’s proudest brewing achievement.
Pricing: $40 per ticket

4. The Best Place to Watch the SuperBowl: 
Where/When: Sunday 5:30 p.m.; 222 Rock Rd., 201-445-2362
Why Go: Catch the biggest football game of the year at your favorite local bar. The price of admission includes a buffet and open bar.
Pricing: $45 per person

5. A Cappella Sing-Off
Where/When: Sunday 7:30 - 9 p.m..; Don Bosco, 492 North Franklin Tpke., Ramsey
Why Go: A Cappella is en vogue again, and this event is sure to impress. St. John's University, Marist College and Don Bosco's groups will all get together and perform and compete.
