GLEN ROCK, NJ – Are you in puppy love?

To mark Valentine’s Day, Glen Rock Dog Park is giving canine owners a way to show their four-legged friends how much they care.

As part of a fundraiser effort for the newly-opened park, dog owners can reserve a decorative heart for a minimum donation of $10 that includes their pup's name and a personal message.

The colorful hearts will be posted on the park's fence leading up to a special event Friday, when free doggie treats will be given out while supplies last.

The dog park, located at 350 Doremus Avenue, is open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk.

A group of dedicated residents has spearheaded the years-long effort to bring a dog park to town and on Jan. 1, it was officially opened and dedicated to 9/11 search and rescue dogs.

The new park is completely privately funded through donations and grants, and run by Glen Rock NJ Dog Park, a non-profit organization.
