Glen Rock Park Used as Dumping Ground, Report Says

The borough is none-too-pleased that residents are using Sycamore Park as a dumping ground.

According to a report in The Glen Rock Gazette, residents (presumably) in the South Highwood area are taking downed trees, grass clippings, branches and other items to the 5.5 acre wooded site. The paper reports the borough will be enforcing trespassing laws and issuing notices to residents whose homes are near the park.

"I already have frustrated workers coming to me," Borough Administrator Lenora Benjamin said, according to the report. "Our people have done a terrific job over there and already they're finding debris piling up again."
