Glen Rock WWII Veteran Edward Szulis, 91, Died Wednesday
Szulis was a member of the Glen Rock Seniors and Activities clubs and was past Commander of American Legion Post 145.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Edward Szulis, 91, died Wednesday.
He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was an accountant at Olin Hunt in Palisades Park for many years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a previous commander of American Legion Post 145.

He was a member of the Glen Rock Seniors and Glen Rock Activities clubs. He was treasurer of the Glen Rock IDA for many years. He was also a scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts. He was a volunteer with the Hudson County Red Cross.
He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Lawida.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn, children Laurey, and her husband Peter, and Ronald and brothers Richard and Chester.
Visitation will be at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood. A funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
