GRTV Makes History
Borough television station broadcasted live Wednesday for the first time ever.

The following was sent by the Borough of Glen Rock.
Once again, GRTV has made history while capturing Glen Rock history in the making! On Wednesday June, 12, 2013, the GRTV staff broadcast the Town Council meeting live for the first time. The previous live broadcast was the high school homecoming football game last fall.Â
Now, "Live Kit" equipment allows GRTV to broadcast from Borough Hall through a dedicated wire. Soon, through a collaboration with the Board of Education, the volunteer organization hopes to have a dedicated line in the press box at the high school--which would make live broadcast of sporting events much more reliable than did the previously used wireless internet connection. Â
The moral of this story? It's time to tune in! Check out all of the exciting GRTV programming on FiOs channel 32 or Cablevision channel 77.
