Hackensack Meridian Hosts COVID Vaccine Clinic In Glen Rock

The clinic is scheduled for Sunday at the Glen Rock Gurudwara. Here's what to know.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Hackensack Meridian Health will host a weekend COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Glen Rock Gurudwara, borough officials announced.

On Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hackensack Health officials will be on hand for Pfizer vaccinations for anyone 12 years and older at the Gurudwara, located at 541 Prospect St.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be scheduled by calling or texting (917)930-8293. People between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Since this is the Pfizer vaccine, a second dose appointment will be needed. Those appointments will be scheduled on Sunday during the first appointment, officials said.

Glen Rock Mayor Kristine Morieko reported Tuesday that 29 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported so far this month.

She also shared a message about the Gurudwara, who she said "have provided 1,000s of meals to the community and surrounding region," during the pandemic.

"Once again our friends at the Gurudwara are going above and beyond for our community," Morieko said.
