Indie Darlings Real Estate Headlining Nick Currey Benefit Concert

Ridgewood natives Real Estate and The Glenn Mercer Band scheduled to rock out on Sunday, June 30. Event to raise money for cancer research.

Big-name indie band Real Estate will be bringing their sweet lo-fi sound back to their hometown on June 30 to help raise money for cancer research.

Real Estate and The Glenn Mercer Band start up at 6 p.m. for the second annual Nick Currey Fund benefit concert at the Kasschau Band Shell.

Currey died in 2005 at age 19 after a hard-fought battle with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer most common in children.
