Mixon led the Maroons to 6 state group titles and 2 Tournament of Champions titles, in her nearly 2 decades as head coach.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — It's the end of an era for Ridgewood lacrosse.
Karla Mixon has resigned as head coach of the Ridgewood High School girls' team.
Mixon's departure was first reported by NJ.com. Ridgewood athletic director Keith Cook confirmed Mixon's resignation to the website. Cook could not be reached via email for comment.

Ridgewood has one the most historic, well-respected lacrosse programs in the state. Mixon has led the team to six state group titles and two tournament of champions titles in her nearly two decades as head coach.
Mixon helped the team win won the team its second straight Bergen County Tournament of Champion titles this season.
