Last Minute Tax Mailing

If you waited until the last minute to do your taxes, the United States Postal Service's Automated Postal Centers (APC) can help you get them postmarked by 11:59 p.m. Monday. 

APC machines offer the convenience of performing simple mailing transactions, such as purchasing stamps and postage for express, First Class, priority, and package parcel post — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The closest APCs are and Paramus post offices. 

User-friendly touch screens walk you through the transaction, which usually take less than a minute to complete, USPS representatives told Patch. The machines take credit or debit cards only.

On Monday, April 18, both the Ridgewood and Paramus locations will be staffed until midnight with supervisors available to assist customers with using APCs.
