Magic Show, Craft Time, To Be Held During Ridgewood Schools Winter Break

Several kid-friendly activities while kids are on their weeklong school break.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ - There will be a lot of kid-friendly activities held the last week in December while kids are on a weeklong break from school.

  • Magic show, Monday, Dec. 28 at 11:30 a.m. at the Anne Zusy Youth Center, Village Hall. Tickets cost $5. Kids 2 and younger will be admitted free.
  • Arctic animals art camps with Abrakadoodle, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 28 and 29 at 10 a.m. and noon both days at The Stable, 259 North Maple Ave. Students will use clay and paint while learning about igloos, polar bears, and moose. Grades kindergarten through third. Cost: $90 and all materials will be provided and $100 for non-residents.
  • Children’s craft workshop with Mrs. C, Monday, Dec. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Stable. For grades two through six. $30. All materials will be provided. Students will be taught simple techniques to draw, paint, and finish a project of their choice. Children will make bottle dolls and wood paintings, weave baskets, and use beads to make jewelry.
