Massive Bergen County Water Geyser Caught On Camera
A 24-inch water main burst in Tenafly on Thursday evening, causing flooding along County Road.

TENAFLY, NJ - A water main break sent water shooting through the pavement in Tenafly on Thursday night.
A video tweeted by Suez Water North Jersey captured the break when the pipe first burst open around 5 p.m. and caused flooding on County Road near Jay Street.
According to the utility company, it was a 24-inch main that ruptured.

Emergency crews from Suez worked throughout the night to complete digging to expose the broken water main and will continue repairs throughout Friday morning.
Detours will remain in effect around the repair site, according to Suez.
