Missing Ridgewood Man Described as Suicidal by Police
Ridgewood police are asking for the public's help in locating a suicidal man missing since Wednesday.
According to Detective Peter Youngberg, 27-year-old Robert Schreiber was last seen at his East Side residence at 5 p.m. wearing a grey t-shirt, black mesh shorts, and flip flops.
New Milford Dad Accused of Punching Cop During Graduation
The lack of seating at New Milford High School's graduation ceremony at Paramus Catholic Monday caused an irate parent to throw a punch at a New Milford cop, resulting in his arrest for allegedly assaulting a police officer, New Milford police said.
According to Chief Frank Papapietro, Sanjiv Agarwal, 49, of New Milford became angry when he found out that all of the seats had been taken inside the auditorium where the ceremony was taking place.

Gandolfini Wake Draws Media, Fans to Park Ridge
Crowds gathered outside of the Robert Spearing Funeral Home in Park Ridge Wednesday while the family of James Gandolfini attended a wake for the deceased actor inside.
Gandolfini, "The Sopranos" star who was born in Westwood and grew up in Park Ridge, died in Rome last week after suffering a heart attack.

Woman Sexually Assaulted After Meeting Men in Teaneck Bar, Prosecutor Says
Three men were charged Friday in the alleged sexual assault of a 24-year-old woman in Waldwick they met at a Teaneck bar, authorities said.
Myron Damus, 26, (removed), and Franklin Simmons, 24, all of Morristown, were arrested at their homes on two counts each of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in a statement late Friday.
Teen Rescued After Car Veers into Water
Franklin Lakes firefighters rescued a teenage passenger from the water Tuesday night after a car drove off the road and into a pond near the intersection of Summit Avenue and High Mountain Road.
Around 8:45 Tuesday night, Franklin Lakes police lieutenant John Bakelaar said, a 2010 Lexus ES30 driven by a 17-year-old woman veered off the road and into the water near the intersection.
