Mom Says It Best: 'People Need To Be In Touch With The Earth'

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — On this Mother's Day, one Patch reader is remembering their mom's edict to love another mother: Mother Earth.

Alina Albano uses this piece of advice as a constant reminder to stay connected to nature, and the things we can take for granted in a digital world.

"Sometimes if you feel lost, go dig in the dirt- garden or just dig a hole. People need to be in touch with the earth," Albano's mother told her.
